KITCHEN MOOD BOARD

This kitchen mood board is for a very fun couple who are updating their kitchen and bathroom in a Lakewood century home. They love to entertain and they have great taste. One of them told me they wanted their kitchen to feel like "a cape cod vacation home, somewhere you could picture a Kennedy living." By that I knew they wanted a coastal vibe, but nothing hokey or too kitschy. It had to be sophisticated. During the meeting we also discussed painting the cabinets, something other that just white that would also have a light and airy feel. I immediately thought of this sage color for the lower cabinets and white for the uppers. The copper accents are inspired by their love of Moscow Mules and their collection of copper mugs. Copper mixes well with the matte black hardware and light fixtures. Stay tuned for the final reveal later in the year!
